About: As a Metaphysician & Artist, it is important to me that I do not just teach others "How to make Pretty things". I wish to do way more than that. I set out to empower people in deeper, more meaningful ways, by sharing some of what I've studied & discovered over the last 20+ years in both fields, simultaneously.
In this class, we will be discussing the history & folklore of Green Men, as well as going over the very useful tool of Quantum Leaping & Resonant Frequency to help create & manifest our project here, which can then be applied to any other aspect of one's life.
We will be using Polymer Clay, custom leaf molds & clay sculpting tools to create a One-of-a-Kind Green Man (or Green Woman) sculpture.
At a later date, a continuation class on painting them will be available! In the painting class, I will be teaching about the powerful effects of color, the attributes of their frequencies & how you can apply them to amplify your every day life by tapping into your biofield to select the one right for you in that moment.
For friends & family that would like to attend just the Green Man painting class, a pre-made molded Green Man will be provided at an additional cost.
What ages can attend?
Responsible Young adults and up! Age is very much just a number. Each soul is unique & their number of years in this life, to me, does not equate to a specific level of intelligence nor skill set. At the age of 4, I was spending 6+ hours per day, alone, quietly entertaining myself by sculpting in my room. Respectfully, I know adults over the age of 50 who cannot focus on a task for more than 20 minutes! If you have a young person in your life that would love this class, has the attention span to focus quietly for this length of time, & will be respectful of others in the group, they are welcome to be here.
* I do teach special children's classes upon request.
Please note that this is a class that requires an adequate attention span & patience. There are also some sharp tools involved. Responsibility is on the individual & the guardian(s) of younger individuals.
What do you need to bring?
Please bring a small box or container to transport your Green Man safely home for baking! The approximate size of each piece will be 7"x7", so something a bit larger than that will be great! Once your Green Man is safely home, you can bake him in a regular oven or toaster oven at 275 degrees for approximately 30 minutes. (NEVER use a microwave, & air fryers are not recommended).
Since Polymer Clay does not normally dry out much overnight, if in a covered container, it would be perfectly fine to bake him the next day.
Please note that The Peri Social House has a Wonderful menu of beverages for you to choose from! You can order your favorite latte (My obsession that I dream about on a regular basis is their Nutcracker Latte!- a luscious Ghirardelli Mocha with a shot of Hazelnut!). There are also many different Coffee choices, specialty Teas & Mocktails to choose from! One beverage is included for each attendee. Grab your favorite & come meet us at our cozy table for an evening of creating! (Alcoholic drinks are never permitted in my classes. Thank You for respecting this & enjoying time with us.)
